I have the uniden EXP9600 phone and the handset died. I just ordered a replacement system.
It came without the interface card.

This is what I got. https://www.westcoastmall.net/exp9600-cordless-extension-for-analog-pbx-office-system-p-4916.html

Can I just transfer my old interface card?
I plugs in fine, but when I have the card installed the phone does not connect.
If I remove the card - of course wont do anything but wanted to test- the phone connects but says line is in use.

I called uniden and they know nothing about this phone.

Any suggestions or some other cordless system I can use? This is for recpetion so I need transfer and hold so it needs to integrate into my phone system.

Every 2 - 3 years I need to replace the cordless and it keeps getting harder and harder to find a replacement.

What interface card are you referring to?

It is a card that goes into the phone base.
550.3019 v or 826.5249-1 are the numbers I see on the board. Has a date of 1997 on it.

I connects to the bottom of the base and gives the port for the phone connection.
Looks like a RJ 45 jack.

No clue. When I searched this model, all responses say no interface card included, but you can find them on-line.

A search for an interface card produced no results.

Sure doesn't help that so many websites copy/paste the same text into them about the product that produces no real answers.

Wasn't there some variant of the old PCDPM card that provided an analog phone port out the back of a digital set? Maybe that is what this "interface card" is all about?

Couldn't you plug the wireless phone base into an open port off a SLC (single line) card that you might have installed? That should give you a basic analog phone port that is an analog extension. Reading up on variants of this Uniden phone, it seems that the handset is tied to the base and will only work in pairs. But once the base is plugged into an analog phone port somewhere, it should function?

Otherwise, the INT4000 cordless phones seem to be the answer for you.

The problem is I need a cordless with all the funtions too.

Hold, transfer.... since the poeple at the front desk will be using this phone.

The interface seems to be the issue. Perhaps the unit I have is not digital, only analog and my interface is digital.

So yea the INT4000 may be my only option.
I only seem to get about 2 years out of the phone and at 2-3 hunred per it gets costly.
