Does anyone make a multi-directional conference phone compatible with the inter-tel system? The owner of my company wants one for his meeting room and wants to be able to dial extensions (so I can't just run an outside analog line and from what I can tell the system is a proprietary digital system.). Any assistance would be appreciated.

Polycom makes good conference phones. You may need to add an analog card to your system.

Polycom makes very good conference phones there's also a company called Clear One that we've been using that makes very good conference phones at a very competitive price. Like Merritt said you'll probably be looking at adding an analog port. If it's a 5000 then it already has two built in.

Depending on the model and software version of your system, the Mitel 5310 IP Conference Unit might be an option. Your dealer can advise.

If I do end up going through an analog card would the special features (like direct dialing extensions and paging) still be accessible?
