I am having a problem at only extension 11 of the system. When the person pick up the phone it sound wiered and staticy. I switched the extension from 11 to another and I did not have that problem. (To make sure it wasn't the phone or the wire) Is there something else I can do to fix this or work around it?

Take the phone and plug it in to phone port 11 at the KSU, that will tell you if it's the port or the wiring.

It works fine if I plug it in another port.

I understand that but what happens when you plug the phone into port 11 on the ACS main processor? You may be getting the problem from the port and the only way to see is to plug the phone directly in to that port.

Ok that means that it's on the port, You can try shutting down the system and reseating the card, be sure that the batt. are good so it will hold the programming. If station 10 doesn't have a (Replace Batt. With Power On) in the display then the batt. are alright. If that doesn't help it then you have a problem in the port and you can move the phone to a spare port if you have one. There isn't much you can do but get it repaired or replaced.

To be honest I don't think you will find anyplace that will loan you a module while you get yours fixed. If you have spare ports I would just use the one you have. You can still program with station 10. Good luck

There are repair places that, for a fee, will do an 'Advance Replacement'. You just have to ask. Good luck.
