I have a customer that has 2 magix systems. Telco has just installed a line between the two. One of the magix systems already has an OPX board. Does the other far end system need an OPX(T) board? How are they supposed to connect to each other.
I would like to explain to the customer how this whole thing will work. I plan on subbing the job out to another company.
Thanks in advance.

OPX boards have 8 analog extensions. OPX ports are not used to network switchs. OPX is Off Premise Extension and allows analog users to be connected remotely via the phone company. You could plug them into Line ports on another switch and do the same the other direction. So when you intercom the OPX extension it would ring like a outside call to the far switch.
