If this is for the intercom companion for the 620 panels, they should be labled. I'm thinking that was a 641 though. Let me know what it's for and if no one else can find the answer for you I have some old manuals, somewhere, I'll see if I can find the answer for you.

Thanks for your response. The 642A has (4) Card positions and was removed from service with (1) 451B KTU (MOH) Card and a 79B5 Power Unit. I assume I can use this KSU with standard 400 Cards.

Those panels had specific functions, when you say standard 400 cards, if you mean the line (CO) cards, than no they won't. The 401 was for intercom...I'll try to find my manuals tomorrow to see what the 642 was for. Bill

Well the box I thought they were in just had Data manuals, sorry, I now have no idea where they are. I can tell you the 400 series (400D, G, H) are for the 620 panel the 640 series and I think it was 641 and 642 are for auxiliary applications, intercom, music on hold exclusion etc. It may have been only one the 642, but seems to me like there was a 641.

One of the phone guys here had a set. 620 panel for co lines and manual intercom. 641 intercom. 642 other music on hold and lots of other stuff. So my memory was better than it was when I tried to answer a T-1 question. Bill

Pete,
I may have some old Bell System Key books in storage. I can check later today or tomorrow to see if any of them have the pinouts if you still need them. I'm assumming your talking about the pinouts on the 66 punch grid?

Kingtel, I think what he wanted to know was if a 400 co card would work in the 642A and the answer is no, I could be wrong, but that's what I understood he wanted to know. The 642 had several different applications and had different wiring schemes for whatever you were using it for. Bill
