I worked for NEC for several years. I always found their products to be good. However, I have not worked on any of the new stuff, so I can't tell you. The fact that the other two systems and close in price and the NEC is quite a bit less raises a small red flag. Most, but not all, phone system are comparably priced, os you shouldn't see a hugh difference in them. Make sure it is apples to apples.

Never heard of them either. Go to their site and they spew the same line as Avaya IP Office supporters, working everyday in businesses, recognized by top experts, award winning...
If that's true how come no one ever heard of em?

TransTel Communications makes a real nice small system TD-824i that sells for under $2000. 3 year warranty. Many features and flexable programming. I've been in business over 30 years this is the best telephone equipment I work with. 6-Digital Display phones with programmable buttons. 4 port voicemail system 4x8 KSU with Caller-ID expandable to 8x24 https://transtelcommunications.com/ ------------------ Merritt Commercial Communications 1-800-244-3033

</font> The Vodavi STS is priced right. Phones are good. But the In-Skin Flash voicemail is limited. Keep in mind Vodavi offers a 5 year warranty on their telephone equipment and a one year warranty on their v/mail. Good Luck! www.vodavi.com

I've worked on a lot of NEC (Elite, 2000, 2400 but not Aspire) and I can tell you that the brand is good, and that if it's installed properly, you will be very pleased.
You do need to have the Tech take some time for on-site training once the system is installed.
Also, ask the tech for his/her tech ID number (a five digit number beginning with an A, such as A1234) so that you will be certain he/she is certified.
Avaya also makes good small-office products, such as the Partner line, but they can be pricey, and under no circumstances should you EVER lease one. You'll pay waaaay too much if you lease.
ESI has some interesting products, lots of features built-in, reasonable price, but not dirt-cheap.
