Yes, that is the only option. Most times that is not a problem though.

No it can not be flash up-graded.(change out only) One AA but you can have night menu. No subs. To schheduling---must use night service button on ext 10. And yes I am pretty certain that was the first release to offer fowarding of messages.
Hope this helps,

no i guess not. Or hope not.
the no sub AA hurts. Option 3 was to be sales and then that pointed to another AA or sub menu that listed out the sales staff.
i guess i will just create a group and ring all or hunt thru the group. Please tell me it can do that? lol

Yes you can do that with a calling group or hunt group.
And if you have and open line port and an open ext port you can have a vm box pick up if not anwsered.

I set up a hunt grp (1) that has three ext. that should ring round robin 3 ring each.
How do i point the AA, selector 2 to hunt grp 1?
where will it go if none of the three answer?
its a partner plus with a mail vs 4.1
thanks.

i used #505 grp 1 1 assigned three ext's to the grp.
but the AA only seems to allow direct ext trans, annoucment or selector code transfer.
thx

The best way if you want an vm box to pick up after x amount of rings.
Is to use an calling group. Put the exts you want to ring (when selector code x is pressed) in the calling group.
Then this is where you must have an extra ext port and an extra line port comes in.
Put your extra ext port in that same calling group. Then put an 1 pr. patch cord from that ext to your extra line port.
Make sure that line has line ownership(#208) to the ext you would like to recieve the vm's
And also make sure that ext has vm and vm coverage.
