Well the system is a Parnter ACS and it does have other extension that allow outcalling notification. I am trying to find more information. Thank you for working with me so far. i am not really that fimilair with Partner systems

When you call in and do *7 or somebody transfers you to VM what does it tell you?

Is a partner the same as a Merlin, where you can call into AA and log into admin?

Could you type out the exact words to the recording?

You can log into the Partner and Merlin as an Admin via the auto attendant.

Ok, this is what happens. I call into the site and have the receptionist transfer me to vm. A greeting then comes on and says" Thank you for calling ___ if you know you parties extension you can dial it a anytime. to use dial by name enter 1. to leave a message in the general mailbox wait for the tone." At this point, if i enter 99#, it will reply the message. If i enter *7, it bring me to the general mailbox. IF i enter 0, i go out to the receptionist.

It could be an aftermarket VM. You are at a stand still until You know what you are dealing with.

* 7 passcode 99# then 0 to menu. This service is restricted for authorized users New Messaging. VS mail is *7 passcode 99# then 9. Dont forget to add a 9* for the out calling number and two if you have centrex.
