Been a while since I messed with the Partner messaging software. Am I correct in saying that the software is release specififc? need r6 software for an r6 messsaging?
Customer says.....he has r7 software that used to work with r6 messaging. Now he cant acces the admin mailbox using the software. He can dial in, but it comes back as wrong password when using the software. Also, shouldnt those passwords be the same?
Just trying to verify before I call the customer back.

Yes it is release specific, R6 won't work with an R7 and vice versa. However if you back up one release of the software you can copy the files into another release then upload them to the system.

Also, am I correct in that the password that you use for dialing in is the same for the software?
