Got a call from customer who claims over 10 messages were delayed by over a day getting to his voicemail. This is a Partner 7.0 w Messaging VM. Time checks ok.
Besides deleting and re-adding his mailbox, any suggestions?

Are you sure messages are really delivered late or are they just stamped wrong?
I have seen this on systems with a Partner II and Partner Messaging. And with those all that was needed was a reset of the time on the Partner II even though it showed correctly on the display of the phones.
The messaging gets it's time from the control unit.

ACS R7.0 Message module R1.0 Messaging Software 7.0 if memory serves me (which it doesn't too often any more..) I haven't looked the alleged problem yet, only got a call, but will go there tomorrow. I will check the time stamp before resetting the clock which sounds like a good recommendation Hmm. would this indicate low batteries or..?

Not too familiar with Partner are you. Is this a Partner Messaging R1 that has been upgraded to an R7? No such thing as what you are saying. R7 upgrades are available but it's unlikely to see it done.
And no, batteries wouldn't have anything to do with this. We need to find out exactly what VM is installed.

Here's my 2 Cents worth....
99 times out of a Hundred, when we checked out such claims, the end user had happy fingers and had most likely hit the POUND SIGN (#) a few too many times and had skipped the messages.
Thus, he found them the next day, but they were identified as "OLD MESSAGES".
Of course, that part (Old Message) they don't bother to tell you about.
There is always the possibility that the Date in the VM is wrong, but the scenario I described is the most common.
You can give them a "WARM FUZZY" by saying, "Next time that happens, forward the Message to the ADMIN Mail Box".
When they do, you will then be armed with some data that makes sense.
