On an ACS 6 or 7 can you set one button on a set that when actavatd will do a centrex transfer to your cell when your extension is called either from the A/A or if the attendant does answer she can just transfer the call to your extension rather then flash and your cell phone number?
Thanks, MrG

The only way to do a cell phone forward is either thru the AA doing a direct transfer to cell phone using Centrex transfer or to have a T1 in the system to to cell phone transfer.

Any Partner will do a button programmed with(Recall)(number of your cell) so someone can transfer manually.

Depending on the messaging system, a centrex transfer can be done but only as a selector code off the AA menu. Only other way to do this would be RCF via the Partner but that involves two lines not centrex so the quality is not as good.

NO.... Acs 6 or 7 has remote call forwarding feature 11 along with a personal system speed dial. This feature does not require Centrex services. If you have partner messaging and Centrex services then you can perform Centrex transfers through 99 sub menus.

A call forwarding button can't be programed for a switch hook flash timing nor can the extension do this in a manual transfer. If a call goes to Ones mailbox one could give instructions to a sub menu with partner messaging to make the Centrex transfer.

It only does a remote call forward by conferencing two lines together with or without Centrex.

Recall and a system speed dial would be the only way to manually transfer out of Centrex to an off site number.

Again, in practice a partner masaging can perform
up to 99 Centrex transfers if directed to a sub menu selector code or announcement.

Sorry. Not very detailed earlier.

Partner VS 5.0 will also perform Centrex Transfer.

As for Feature 11 Cell phone connect this does require a t1 card in the system.

For Remote call forwarding Feature 11 you must have remote call forwarding enabled on your extension

This will allow you to forward transferd calls to your cell phone

This is a realter and they would like to be able to have the system transfer to their cells automaticly without eating up 2 CO lines.
Thanks again, MrG

cell phone connect does not require a T-1 card in the system. Besides the T-1 card for partner is way over priced. So, who would use the feature if they needed a T-1 mod?

Centrex services are less expensive than a t-1. I have yet to see anyone use a T-1 card in a partner for DID. Besides wither your t-1 resides in the unit
or on the shelf the 3 way calling feature as an added cost.

The feature "Cell Phone Connect" is different than RCF.
With CPC the call will ring the person's in house extension and the cell or whatever number at the same time and which ever picks up has the call.

With RCF the call goes to the forward number.

Yes you are right. But the t-1 concept is misleading in his statement for this to work without a t-1.

Thats all.
