I'm just reading the Avaya tech bulletin on the DST patch for the R6/R7. It looks to me like it does not modify the DST tables, it just updates the time according to the CID information.

You should disable Automatic Daylight Savings Time in programming since it will just keep the old schedule though the time will be updated with the first CID call after it changes.

So if the customer does not have CID it looks like this patch will be useless.

Hal' I was told it would work, that i needed to get two cards: smart modular - memory pm24141 - a 8mb linear flcard c - series 5 volt :confused:

What I said has nothing to do with what you are talking about. I was describing how the Partner processor will work after the "patch" is installed.

You are correct Hal. We have a lot of customers that don't use CID and the patch's will not do them any good. Except for the R.7's and their power loss problem.

Do they have the patch for the R.6's out yet? I thought I read in there that it would'nt be out until 3/6/07. Which gives us 5 days to flash eveybody. frown

Oh and DJG,...............you can use the same 8mb card on either a 6 or 7.

I use the same card to upgrade R.1-R.5 to R.6 as I do to push the "J" patch to an R.7.
