A customer has a partner ACS 7.0 with 2 308 cards, the system was trucking right along with no issues, earlier this week a storm rolled through and the system lost power for most of the night. When the system came back up it was at program default and seemed that everything was working properly. I reprogrammed the system and of course gave them a price on a backup card.
This morning I stopped in to take care of some minor programming issues, while I was there the receptionist told me about an issue that has me a bit puzzled.
When she presses the button programmed *70 the system does an all page and you can hear the page come over at a fairly high volume in the earpiece of the telephone that is making the all page.

Has anyone had or have heard of this issue? If so what is the remedy.
Peace,
Dave

ACS 7 has internal backup memory, and should be turned on if you don't have an external backup card. There may still be an automatic backup available for you to restore from. A patch is available to correct it from losing programming after a power failure.

*70 is simultaneous paging. Do they have loudspeaker paging as well? If not, reprogram those buttons for *71 instead.

What Tommy said plus you may want to check what software release the R.7 is.
Needs to be at least a "J" or "K".
