I have IP Office 4.1 with A VPN set-up in a lab enviroment between Junper Networks 5-GT Router (IPO server side ) and a Netgear FVS 318. The VPN tunnel comes up easily and I can ping from both networks to the other. I can ping the IPO server from both Networks. I can see the IP telephone on the NetGear side download the configuration from the TFTP server ( download progress on telephone ). In SYSMon, I can not see the IP telephone registering. I have had the same problem with a NetGear FVS 124g. WHen I use a cheap Linksys router, a DLink 804V or a Cisco 831 the tunnels come up and the telephones register without any more config then setting up the tunnel. By the way, it seems Cisco routers do not support or have support turned off for Direct Media Path. Maybe someone out there knows the answer to that too. Does anyone know how to fix this problem with the NetGear routers?

Thanx/Quaz

Turned out to be as simple as upgrading the NetGear firmware to ver 026. Works great now.
