Hi
My work place uses the Spirit 6 Button phones. I know they have intercom features and we use our over head shop intercom all the time. I recently discovered that I can actually intercom specific phones but I've only figured out how to reach 2 of the phones.

Is there away to program this so I can reach all of our phones?

Do you mean Intercomming specific phones or paging a group of phones thru the phones' built in speaker

I mean intercomming specific phones
I've found if I press
Intercomm 6 0: loud speaker in the shop
Intercomm 1 1: Boss' phone
Intercomm 1 0: Secondary phone in my office
Intercomm 6 1: pages all phones

But I couldn't find any combo for our other phones, so I was wondering if there is a way to set it so I can specifically page the service desk or the sales room, etc...

Well, I'll give you a hint. EXTENSION 11 is your boss' phone, EXTENSION 10 is the other phone in your office. Have you tried 12, 13, 14 etc?

He may be talking about Voice Announcing on the Intercom.

If you call an idle phone using the intercom and it does NOT have the HFAI LED lit, that phone will ring.

If HFAI is lit, then instead of ringing, the extension will beep and your voice will come through the speaker.

The HFAI LED is turned on and off by touching the HFAI button.

Yes, I went through and tried them all. The ones that I mentioned are the only ones that don't give me a a (for lack of better terms) error beep code. That is why I was wondering if there was some way to manually set the remaining phones as ext 12, 13, etc...

Well actually, ext 13 & 19 do an "in-house" ring, but I can't seem to figure out which phones they are ringing on.

Edit:
Ok well actually it was 13 & 18. I now know which one 18 is for and I think that I know which one 13 is for but the manager is still on that phone. I found that if HFAI is not lit, it "rings" but if it is lit, it will go directly to the speaker.

Thank you all for your help. ^.^

If the extension is off hook (being used) you will get a busy. If there is a DND (Do Not Disturb) and it is on, you will get the same.

I don't remember with that old Spirit, but you may just hear ringing if you intercom an extension that does not have a phone connected to it.

Yeah I have them all figured out now ^.^ If it is in use it will ring to their phone and you hear an "internal" ring which sounds different then the normal ringing.

Again, Thank you all for everything. Have a great day

Actually, if you call an extension that doesn't have a phone connected, you will either get a busy signal, or a wave off.

Yeah, that's what the Partner does. Wasn't sure if the Spirit did the same thing. It's so old and it was not a big seller (because it was bottom of the barrel) that I very rarely see any of them.
