No version of Magix / Legend supports NI-1 or NI-2. Ask Cox to Emulate a 5ESS switch with AT&T Custom protocol. Then you change switch type in PRI menu to 5ESS, leave your dial plan routing alone. In addition to your wiring issues this thing will keep causing problems until the protocol matches.
Don't allow them to say they can't emulate a 5ESS switch working with a DMS500 switch. Yes they can.
Another huge problem is when the vendor is sending caller ID NAME info. The Legend or Magix does not support incomming name ID on PRI's.
If you need help call me from onsite, for a fee I'll dial in , check your PRI programming, change the switch type and conference you and I with the Cox techs. So far they have blamed the dropped calls on your equipment and forced you to replace perfectly good equipment, and you still have an unstable PRI. Call me I'll help you get them to resolve the issues and make your users happy.
Thanks and good luck, Phyllis Smith 972-733-0293
