Do IP Office passwords expire. I went to log into a system today and got an access denied message.
I was attempting to remote access a system via PC anyware into the voice mail server. I could bring up the Manager but could not log into IP Office.
I drove to the site and power cycled the IP box as my reason for loging in was to reboot the system as it was locked up with a phone continiously ringing. The system came back up and all was normal.
I then attempted to log into the IP Office from the VM PC and was again denied access. I tryed the 3 other systems that are accesable from my ofice and was denied access to them also. So I now have 4 systems I cannot get into.
So the question is do passwords expire in IP Office or did my JR Admin or the Vendor change them. The last time I was in the system was at least 2 months ago and I had no problem then.
I just want to know who to yell at on monday, the JR Admin, Vendor or my self for not knowing they expire.
Not asking for a pasword but I assume that a backdoor password exists and the vendor should be able to reset the service level password for me.
I am sure I am using the correct user name and password because as in any good high security installation it is in a text file on the VM PC Desktop. A slightly higher security level than a sticky note on the montor.

Now that's bad news, Now I have to yell at someone on Monday. Like I said I have not been in the system in 2 months and no one has any reason to change the password with out informing me.

In the end I had to yell at myself, I had the right password but the wrong username. I was using the VM Server username on the IP Office.
Got to log in more often so I do not forget how it works.
While I was in there I backed up the 4 IP Office configs so it was not a total loss
