I am having an issue with one voice mail box in particular. The voice mail will pick up the call correctly from outside callers, however internal calls will never be forwarded to the mailbox. I have created and changed many of our mail boxes but have never ran in to this. I have tried deleting and re-creating the mailbox.

Does anyone have any insight?

Thanks for the help!!

Nick

Print the Extension Info for the extension having this problem and you will see:

Coverage Inside : OFF

You should also see (IN THE BUTTONS) a COVERAGE OFF button as well.

Plus, when you see the COVERAGE OFF Button, it will be set to ON. (Meaning the LED is ON and the Feature is ON as well)

That will keep it from going to VM on inside calls.

But, do not remove the button until the end user TURNS OFF the COVERAGE OFF BUTTON.

Then, once it is OFF, you can remove it and they won't mess up their VM Coverage any more.

There are times when a COVER OFF button is useful.

But if they really do not need it, get rid of it.

Thanks for the quick reply!

It does indeed show a COVERAGE OFF button, however on the telephone itself (10DP) I can not find it. Should I be able to get to it from the 20L through the central tel prog menu?

Program it to a button that is accessible on the 10-D, go to the phone, toggle the function, then remove the button.

Or, temporarily swap the 10-D phone set with a 16-D or a 20-L or a 28-D, toggle the button, delete the button, then swap back the 10-D

Swapped with a 16-D for a second, worked like a charm!

Thank you!
