I just installed 2 New ACS 7.0's in 2 different locations and the time jumps 4 hours ahead of the current time on both systems. I tried setting the time 4 hours behind but it didn't matter, the time moved 4 hours ahead of my current time. I've reset both systems and set the time to 00:00 but no change. One system is in a 5-port cabinet and one sits on the wall by itself. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

What release R.7?
Sounds like the time coming in on your CID may be doing this.

I assume you have POTS lines feeding the ACS R.7?
If so? Who is your service provider?
R.7 doesn't have the option to turn off network CID sync, but R.8 does.
So if you prove that the CID is causing the problem, I would flash the R.7's to R.8's.

The phone company sends the date and time along with the caller's phone number. The ACS automatically synchronizes its internal clock with this info. Most phone companies are accurate in the time that they send, but sometimes their clocks are screwed up, or your dial tone is being derived from a central office that is not local to you. This got to be a problem, so the new Release 8 has an option to disable the synchronization.

Talk to your phone company, but good luck!!

That's not the problem we are talking about here.
