I have one of the first R7's when they came out that I took back due to old and new style sets miss dialing here in my office, I did a software update to 126 some time ago and all dialing problems went away so I've been using it. I'm not aware of a software ver. issue but it sure fixed mine.
Also as Mike mentioned there was a batch of the II'2 that had that problem but I would think they would all be gone by now.

I've had it happen on a Euro using the handset and speakerphone but the phone was in a lobby that had a bad echo.

Replacing the phone has not helped. I could have him try using the speaker with the mic muted but that seems less than ideal. It is an R7 91K processor. The 126 update you are talking about is that the newest R7 update?

Jack, are you saying that you still get miss dials when you lift the handset or just when dialing while on speaker?

There are misdials while using the handset. I was just saying i don't think using the muted speakerphone to dial is an ideal situation.

Oh, I agree.
Then I would try flashing that processor to "O" or at least "K" as Russ mentioned.
I can sent you a "K" patch if needed.

It is using the K patch now. I have a PC card with the K patch on it but could use the O if you have it.

"O" is only available in a new processor. That's why there are so many "K"s out there on the gray market- they are patched earlier releases.

So I still have mis-dials on an updated processor while using the handset. Any ideas?
