I am having all kinds of problems with getting a cordless headset to work properly on a partner plus phone. Perhaps I don't have the connections set up correctly? Should I be using the auxillary port to hook up the headset?

In reviewing the manual for your headset, it looks like you will disconnect the curly cord from the base of the phone, plug your headset base in there, and reconnect the curly cord to another jack on the headset base. You will need to lift the handset off the hook for each call, and will need to configure the Jabra for your phone.

I actually have it connected in that way, but the quality of the sound is horrible. I found something on the internet that talked about plugging the headset into the auxiliary port https://headsetplus.com/PDF/Partner-CT12.pdf. I have been working with Jabra engineers for the past month trying to solve this problem to no avail.

And that Plantronics CT-12 is not exactly the same as your Jabra headset, yes?
The AUX port is equivalent to an outside telephone line, and the CT-12 is equivalent to a single line telephone with an attached headset.
