I have a customer who would like to have the attendant have her own personel mailbox on the same phone as the GDM. Is this possible? two mailboxes lighting the same MSG lamp? This same customer has 3 people sharing the same office with 1 phone and 3 jacks. They are never in the office at the same time. When they try to VM-TRF to the ext's that are not plugged in they get a busy. Any direction would be appreciated.
Thanks, Al

How are the incoming calls routed into the system? Copper lines or PRI?
Merlin Mail has General Mailbox 9991 for Auto Attendant No. 1, and you specify who gets the MWI for it. Can be someone that has their own mailbox as well. But if the calls come in via PRI directed to the attendant's extension number, and cover to VM to be steered to the AA, the attendant can not have their own mailbox.
If an extension is in the VM coverage group, it doesn't matter if it is plugged in or not - it will cover to voicemail. Immediately if disconnected, after X number of rings if plugged in.
