Recently someone took over an extension that hadn't been used in years. The office manager called to advise that calls just ring out and never transfer to vm. I had the user try accessing the vm box to check for messages and they advised that they were getting an "Invalid entry" notification. I'm assuming that extension never had VM set up since they can't access it directly by calling. I have the System Administration Guide but I don't see a section about adding boxes, just managing them. We have a Strata DK phone system w/ a Stratagy VM.

Any help would be appreciated.

Log into MB999, press 8 then 5 to create a mbox.

Thanks a million. Will see about going onsite Monday to take care of this.

I was able to go to the site today and successfully create a vm for the user. Was able to test and successfully leave and retrieve messages. Thanks again Voyager.

That wasn't so hard now, was it?

Your welcome.

Not too bad at all. Haven't had too much time to practice w/ Toshiba equipment since we're predominantly running Nortel and Cisco equipment, with this one office being the only exception in about 50+ systems.
