I have a DK424, Processor RCTUE-D, Rom ver. 9M, Soft. R4.3. I currently have 3 digit DNIS thru T1's working however we have been considering going to a 4 digit setup because of some tel number conflicts. Is switching to 4 digits as simple as making a change with the carrier to provide and adding the fourth digit to the DNIS table or is there allot more to this then I've been able to determine from the information I have on the system?

Thanks mj for the info. So you're saying the only thing I need to change in system programming is to add the leading 4th digit to the existing 3 digit entries in my DNIS Number/Name table and I can route the caller correctly as long as we are receiving the 4 digits from the carrier?

Change with the provider, re-program your DID database and *64-2 to reflect 4 digits.

I go into programming this morning and start programming all of the existing 3 digit entries to 4 and run into several that come up with an admin error message that indicates I have "Conflicts in the DNIS table" however I can't find any duplicate entries in the table and of course it won't let me enter them as 4 digit. So I try using the "batch add" feature which gets the entry into the table however after testing I find it isn't routing the call correctly? I've since switched back to 3 digit and need to regroup, any suggestions on this problem would be apprectiated, thanks.

example:

If you have an entry 322, you will not be able to add any entries from 3220~3229. It may be easier to clear the entire table than re enter your information.

If you are using DK admin you should be able to view the entire table.
