I have a Toshiba CIX 670 that is not allowing us to receive any faxes. I have a few Analog cards and several BIPU and LIPU cards for VOIP.

We use a Biscom Fax Server to Route faxes.

Symptoms: I can send a fax out from a 1FB line and confirm that the digits get passed to the fax server and that the fax server answers. The problem I am having is the calls are not sending all the data.

Sometimes I get a partial message other times I get no message. Here is a sample of the message I get back.

To: Recipient at 4805551234
Subject:
Result: The transmission failed.
Explanation: Phone network busy

I read somewhere on these forums that the problem could be related to clocking on the RDTU?

In the past we have used our buttset and searched for the Analog line that has a pulse and entered #409 to reset what would be a message indicator alert. I have tried this several times with no success.

Any thoughts on what could resolve my issue?

Thanks In Advance.

Is the fax going throught RDTU only? And is it the primary clock source?

Also, is the T-1 carried directly as DS-1 or is it carried as VoIP and converted to T-1 by an IAD?
