I installed My Phone Manager on my XP Professional sp 3 computer this morning.
It looked like the install ran completely.
However no ICON showed up and I can't seem to access "My Phone Manager"
Any ideas of what went wrong?

Is it in the list of programs?

It may still be installed, just not showing an icon on the desktop.

It runs like emanager. Have you tried to open it up as a website?

https://{IP address or name}/MyPhoneManager

On the same machine you can use "localhost" for the IP address.

I've been told in the past by tech suppor that there were issues with SP3 for any eManager products, except the NeMgr. Are you able to "roll back" to SP2?

It may make no difference, but worth a shot.

Can someone clue me in as to how to configure? We got a good install, but now stood up by our vendor. Think its a personal crisis for him so I don't want to report him to Toshiba but he's really left us in the lurch here.

I need to make stupid changes like name assignments. Used to admin a Definity G3i but have no directions on how to configure Emanager of My Phone manager for connectivity to the CIX.

Thanks!

Juat to clearify, My Phone Manager is not the same as eManager. My Phone manager is designed primarily for the end user to change their own phone settings, while emanager administers everything.

Sorry, I installed both (my phone manager 1st) and would settle for one actualy working.

I followed the instructions, removed the computer from the domain first, took off SP3, can ping the switch, but cannot bring up a log on screen for any session- either myphonemanager or emanager.

The vendor has apparently been adbucted by aliens and left me (and my jog standing) in the lurch.

Thanks for any help.

Turn off pop-up blocker in IE and see if that helps.

It would help if you posted any messages, dialogs, errors, that appear on the screen.

I would suggest you install eManager 1st, then MyPhoneManager, as MPM works off the emanager database.

If the product seemed to install without errors, but nothing happens when you try to start, it may be related to security policy set on Windows by an administrator. Specifically, the username and password emanager and MPM use to INSTALL - which YOU specify - (not the default login username and password which are set by Toshiba). Make sure the INSTALL username/account has proper permissions for the folders the eManager IIS site uses. Also make sure that the INSTALL password meets complexity requirements if any (such as minimum length, etc).

EDIT: Have to make am important correction: the INSTALL username for eManager and MPM are set by Toshiba, it is only the INSTALL password that can be set by the installer. The eManager INSTALL username is "eManagerUser", similarly for the MPM. The INSTALL username/password combo is used to access IIS and its sites, also the program files. The LOGIN username/password combo is only used login to the Databases related to the Equipment you're configuring, and the equipment itself.
