Hi guys
I have a Flash 2 port vm that does not play the option to delete message after you have listen to new messages if you press option 3 it will delete it, but after listening to a new message it does not say "to delete the message press 3" i have upgraded sw to 3R and plug and played it to the DK280 but still no difference

any ideas?

you may have to load the r3 voice prompts,,

usually you will get a message that says "prompt Missing"

I believe its "english.idx"

I did not get a "promt missing" message it just says this message will be saved. Are the prompts in the R3 Upgrade sw?

I would set up a hyperterminal session, 8,n,1 115200, set to capture,connect to com port reboot the flash,then run through the capture txt to see if anthing stands out it maybe that the prompts are in some way corrupt, plug and play usually cures this though. Does this happen on all mailboxes including admin mailboxes? try creating a new mailbox by coping say 990 instead of 997 then test, I'm not sure if the voice prompts are included in the 3r upgrade, the other thing you could try is noting down the Stratagy config settings from a working flash then compare the two to see if anything stands out. From what you say you state that you dont get the option, are the options fluent after the message (i:e no gap for option 3) if they are fluent then it would point to a config prob, if they stutter or have a noticible gap then i would say voice prompt corruption.
