Have 3 Vodavi STS's w/ flash V-Mail all opperate normally for weeks then suddenly start interrupting callers about 10-20 seconds into leaving message w/ "If you are Satisfied...." The only way I can repeat this is by dialing "#" to finish my message. If there is silence I get "Yiur message has been delivered." When this occurs no message is left in the mailbox. If I have 3 of these maybe this has happened to someone else.

We have installed several hundred of these systems and had similar circumstances a while back due to software problems. You will need to find out what software version you have in them. If it's 20051 or above, then you will need to contact Vodavi at (800) 356-7279 and speak with technical support. If you have anything below that, like 20050 or 20047, you will definitely need to upgrade them. It's a small file that you can download from their website or technical support can e-mail it to you. Once we upgraded all of our systems to 20051, we didn't have any more trouble. You really need to do this soon because it eventually gets worse to the point that you can't get the system to come up at all! I was told by technical support that it is imperative that you perform system initialization when these are first installed to clear out any garbage that may have been picked up during shipping and handling; this starts the system out with a "clean slate". We now do this on every new installation and they work fine.

I have the same problem with a customer, I upgraded to 20052, turned down the co xmit vol and so far haven't heard from the customer. If you find anything different please post here.

Vodavi recomended reinitializing. Did that and it fixed them.

Reinitialize by selecting option 13 I think in the main menu. The only thing that will remain is the opening greetings like greeting 1,2,3,4 etc. You will have to select the right integration in 12 again and setup the whole v-mail again. It has fixed the 2 I have done it on.

I guess when we install these we should do an initialize on them before installing.

Hello everyone, I havea similar problem. I have software version 20035, and the caller gets the message, the system is full. Tech support gave me the address to goto so I can download the software but the site doesn't come up. Can anyone help me? I need to do this this weekend.
