I apologize in advance for something that must seem simple to Vodavi guys. My Vodavi tech recently left me and you can't get much help when you call Vertical in Phoenix.

Anyway, short of setting up a hunt group, is there a practical way to have the VM system (flash in skin) answer an incoming CO line with a company greeting (thank You for calling XYZ, someone will be with you momentarily) and then ring the operator station and then if no answer follow the auto attendant menu?

It can be done in multiple ways but it also depends which voicemail you are using.

It is the flash based in-skin Voice Mail card (VM1B) for XTS and XTSc

You have to set up a voice mail hunt group usually 450, so the answer to your question is no.
