I have a customer that has an NEC Electra Elite IPK system that wants to be able to have the supervisor listen in on calls for quality assurance. The only thing I see in the manual is info on the barge in alert. How do I set this up or where do I look for the information?

Thanks for your quick response, once this has been set up, do I need a feature button to make it work. I am used to doing this on a Vodavi, it is just a matter of programming a feature button, put the phone in hands free mode, call a station in use and when you hear the busy signal, press the EOR button.

To Call Monitor using a station number:
1. Lift the handset or press Speaker, and wait for internal dial tone.
2. Press Feature.
3. Dial 66.
4. Dial the station to be monitored.
5. Press Feature.
6. Monitor is Enabled.

Many folks set up a one-touch key for that extension on their phone. Then they can see if the phone is in use and monitor the call that's in progress. Useful for call center managers.
