I have trunks 701-708. How do I get them to go to Auto Attendant if no answer?
What i do is in group put overflow what ever time you need and next port to v/m group like 529 and make a group key to ans the messages dont forget to make a group mailbox
When I go into VM then hit *. It plays the companys message.

Where is that message and what number is it? I want all 8 of my trunks to play that VM default system greeting if no body answers any of the trunks.
If you don't have a mailbox and send the call into the vm (via a group overflowing, or station overflowing), you should end up in the "day main menu" which will play that message you are hearing.
But I want my Trunks 701-708 to go to the Day Menu. Where do I send my trunks to VM after no answer?
Send it to the voicemail group. You will need to tell the voicemail when it sees the group/trunk number in forward station menu to route to day menu
How do I send Trunk 701 to the VM group? I'm using 519 for VM. What MMC code do I need to use?

Sorry for all the dumb questions. This is my first Samsung PBX Install? I'm an Avaya guy and the terminology is different,.
What you need to do is if analoge trunks use mmc 406 and if digtel trunks use mmc714 there are 6 ring plans on both
You have stated you want the call to route to the voicemail if calls are unanswered, so you need to overflow from a station ring group, set overflow timer, and next port as vm group number.

Can you confirm you can connect voicemail then we can guide u through the next step?

Are u using analogue or isdn circuits?

Mmc 406/714 route calls to the first destination specified within the menu/table whether a ring group, extension or voicemail.
That worked all... Thank you all for the support over the last few days...

Happy Holidays
