Hi all,
I didn't change my admin password but I'd like to know how i can reset without losing the configuration of my Samsung Office Serv 7400.
Yesterday I changed the gateway, after a restart I can't login using DM 5.01 2017.02.20, I don't know why but now I can't login, the Office Serv is still working, the configuration of the phones hasn't changed. I tried all the default password and I can't login with DM, using telnet, HTTP, HTTPS protocol.
What can I do now? Is there any way to administer my Office Serv 7400? Take in mind I have a backup I can upload if I can login... Thanks in advance!
Why don't you go in through a keyset and look at the ip address
I Know the IP address, it's not that the problem. I reach my Office Serv 7400 on the network but I can't authenticate. I wrote that I changed it's gateway, it's been the only change I did to my configuration and after I rebooted. After this I can't login, I don't know exactly what happened
And you can check the gateway and subnet through kmmc as well.Obviously there is a problem with something you changed. Hook up a pc directly to it and see what happens.

Your original question was is there another way to administer my 7400.And I did answer your question yes kmmc

If you had a password problem then the error would be wrong password. If you have an ip problem then the error message should be check the link
Where can I find a link to download KMCC? some pdf to understand more?
Tryng to login with DM after putting my password it says "Login Error Invalid"

Programming from a keyset
Can you tell me exactly the procedure? where can I find the correct codes to insert using a Keyset? Sorry I'm a neofit with PBXs. Is it possible someone changed the password before, maybe some days ago and and it's been effective the new one after a restart?
Are you ticking the encryption box on the login screen in DM?

Also being a 7400 it's likely the opposite of what you said.

They have a tendency if not initialized correctly on first startup to revert to old programming radomly after a restart (usually after power loss, but not to say a warm restart like you did wouldn't do it)
Yes I'm ticking the encryption box on the login screen in DM. I restarted correctly using DM, but at the same time I know before there has been a power loss. I know I didn't change the password and I think it has lost also the licence for 3rd party phones...
If It has revert to old programming what could be the password? Office Serv 7400 14.11.02 V4.75
Try the default password.

If you have lost the license then it's reverted to old programming.

the only fix for that is to backup the config via DM, factory default (this requires 2 complete power downs and then 1 reboot due to ip address change), then upload the config.
I just have a good backup that i can upload, how can do that without locking out all the others working phones and without risking to lose this semi-working config that is running at the moment?
Once you can login you can upload this backup, make sure you change the gateway address in your backup before you upload, You may need to reboot the system after uploading the backup.
I have tried admin / root and admin / samsung and admin / Samsung now and nothing, I can't login
None of those are the default admin password for your version of software.
Can you tell what are then the default admin password for that version?
Tried also XXXXX and nothing

Please no posting of passwords in the open forum
Don't understand if you have a good download why don't you default the system and upload it as long as you change the ip address
Have you tried XXXXXXXXX as password for your DM? if yes,
Have you ticked and untick the password encryption on your DM log in page?
Have you tried logging in with your digital keyset?

Please NO posting of passwords in the open forum. This has been stated many times in these type of threads.
You were warned in one of your threads earlier this year not to post passwords.
Just FYI they changed the default admin password with 4.70 s/w. It is that long silly string.

Also another question, what do you mean by you reset the gateway? I'm just curious on this. If you did it through DM then you should know what address you have in there.
