I am looking for information on how to program SIP phones on an ECS. I have SIP station licenses on a version 12 ECS. I would like to try using a basic Grandstream SIP phone as an extension on the ECS. Looking for both ECS programming info as well as setup information of the Grandstream phone (GXP1100).

Do you have programmer/vendor access to the phone system data base? Most of the programming you need to do can't be done with a key set.

You'll need to create the virtual card for the extension then register the phone to the phone system using the LAN2 IP address. Your system already has the MBU card I'm guessing?

All SIP phones connect/program a little differently. so you'll have to try different settings on the phone.Usually, the main hang-ups are in transport. Choose UDP.

My best advice is to get your vendor involved. Your blood pressure will thank you later.
