I have a customer that has 2 IDS systems connected with TID. The one site lost its 432 ECPU and had to be replaced. The issue is calling from the site with the new CPU using the transparent intercom dialing the call will not go through. If I direct access the TIE lines I can dial fine. I know there is a debug option for the 648 ACPU but I don't know the code for the ECPU. Can anyone remember it?
Don't remember a DeBug for dialing are you sure you have the dialing screen set up. Extensions in remote set to proper line group so the system knows which trunk group the Tie Lines are in.
Yes I have the screen set up with the correct information. I compaired it to the other site that still works.
Nonameyet,
The J screen is for PBX key programming. I don't understand how it would impact TID?
Send PM with reach number would be glad to assist if your still having issues
used to be able to see digits coming in on tie lines on the J screen ( then again ---it was a Loonnng time ago)
Nonameyet, You are correct. In the Ctl C screen, Multi window J screen you can see digits. My issue is not the incoming but the out going.
did I miss something on the original post? don't you have 2 IDS systems linked together?
Yes there is a 228 with a ECPU 6.0.4 at the main site and a 108 with the same CPU and version at the remote site.
ok, help me remember. 6.0.4 ? what Options do you see on the site that is still working( the 228 site) I " may " be able to help. did the 108 site lose it's options?
I see some options on the system that I don't reconize and can't find in the technical manuels.
AER, DS6 and TIR.
Can anyone help?
The 108 cabinet site has anECPU 6.0.5x03. The other side has a 228 cabinet with 6.0.5. It was the 108 site that lost its ECPU. I have stopped at the 228 site but I did not make note of the options on that ECPU. The 108 site has the following options.
INS, Dir, VMS, CVM, Sil, CPI, TMC, VMI, ANI, 432, AER, CA1, PACD, Att, LVFAC, DLG, CID, RLS, DS6,TIME and TIR.
so, Im guessing you bought a ECPU with those Options already on it?
because That is a LOAD of Options ! lets see if I can remember.
INS ( don't remember ) but, I'm thinking poor mans LCR
DIR = directory option
VMS = Voice mail option
