IPX 500 w/ uCMC and Analog Trunks - ugh - 06/23/12 03:48 PM
Customer has ordered Analog Trunks. They were on a PRI and downgraded. Since they changed we have had nothing but problems. The salesmen like to Flexicall out to their cell phones OR have reception transfer to their cells. These calls don't release because the telco does NOT provide disconnect supervision. To combat we set the receptionist up with Break In and Force Release buttons. This seems to be working. The other issue is the uCMC vm seems to be hanging onto the ports for at least 15 minutes before releasing. Voicemails that are left are long and have dial tone etc. (I don't know what timer it could be following as the 15 minutes seems to be consistent). Any ideas on how to get these ports to release? To me is seems odd that the uCMC does not seem to be working with the Analog Trunks since it works just fine on Emerald ICE's?? The Analog Trunks coming in come in digital and then get handed off as analog. Not sure if that adds to the issue but just thought it might be worth mentioning.
