Customer has ordered Analog Trunks. They were on a PRI and downgraded. Since they changed we have had nothing but problems. The salesmen like to Flexicall out to their cell phones OR have reception transfer to their cells. These calls don't release because the telco does NOT provide disconnect supervision. To combat we set the receptionist up with Break In and Force Release buttons. This seems to be working. The other issue is the uCMC vm seems to be hanging onto the ports for at least 15 minutes before releasing. Voicemails that are left are long and have dial tone etc. (I don't know what timer it could be following as the 15 minutes seems to be consistent). Any ideas on how to get these ports to release? To me is seems odd that the uCMC does not seem to be working with the Analog Trunks since it works just fine on Emerald ICE's?? The Analog Trunks coming in come in digital and then get handed off as analog. Not sure if that adds to the issue but just thought it might be worth mentioning.

1. Flexicall is NOT supported on analog trunks per Tadiran.

2. Analog CO cards need to be set for disconnect supervision in both port database and card database.

3. Why not use fractional PRI/T1 instead?

What fields need to be changed in the port and card databases? And what should they be set for?

The customer is moving soon and wanted a temporary solution to get them by.

Any idea on the uCMC ports taking 15 minutes to disconnect? That is my biggest issue right now.

You might want to call Tadiran tech support.
