We got this message SYS ALARM #23
SMDR 80% FULL. On checking on this alarm I found this information.
The SMDR disk space on the external voice processing system is 80% of full. If it reaches 100% before the SMDR information is cleared, no further SMDR recording will be possible.
How and where in the system can I check to see what messages are there?

The SMDR information gives you Times/Dates/Station on calls that were made or placed to and from your system. Are you currently using another server or software to view calls that your system makes.

There is a way to turn this off, what version is your system?

Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. The person who originally started this thread is no longer here. We have an Inter-tel Axxess 9.002 system.

Voice Processor/SMDR Buffer. There you will see where to turn it off.

Is there a place on the server that I can go to "clean up" the report information? A default path where this info is put on the server?

Are you using any call accounting? I believe Tapit buffers on the voicemail until downloaded.

Inter-Tel Inside Track utilized the SMDR buffer in the VPU. As RCA stated, if you are not using SMDR data turn that off. It uses CPU cycles and HDD space.
