I have a customer with a T-1 and TIE lines. Several times a day a person will call a specific DID number and instead get transferred to the operator. It appears all the digits are not getting through or the switch is not seeing them all. Any ideas on settings? Is there anything in the monitor process I can look at to see what is going on? we are expecting 4 digits.

Look for TTR level alarms during those times.
You can monitor and check digits being received with a trace on the DID trunks.

can I trace all the trunks at once? Can I monitor an entire pool to see how many trunks are busy at one time?

I believe you can trace all trunks; but you are going to have so much info that it is going to be tough finding what you are looking for unless you can pick a time that the customer's call volume is low. Can you pick a time to test where you can busy out all or some of the trunks and trace one at a time.

my problem is it is intermittant. probably happening 3-4 times a day on normal call volume or about 5% of the time.
