Hello, We added a Large PC card to a Partner ACS about 1 year ago. Customer called today and said one mailbox will not take messages. This is Full time AA so it answers all calls. AA transfers call when digit 3 is dialed and call forwards to mailbox if not answered. But a beep is not heard. After about 5-7 seconds I hear a "Good Bye" and the call gets dropped. Any idea's? THANK YOU!
Moving topic to the Avaya forum.
Mailboxes can be optioned to play an announcement and then disconnect the call. It sounds like that is what has happened, only that there is no recorded announcement to play. Check to see if that is what the situation is.

That makes perfect sense.
If that isn't it and you don't find any programming issues etc just reset it and start from scratch. They flake out for no reason sometimes.
Sorry, I forgot to mention, There is a greeting recorded and it does play when the call forwards to VM. Just silence after the greeting plays then the good bye and hangup.
Can that option be checked and changed remotely in mailbox programming? Thanks!

Then Dex hit it on the head. Change it to record from announce only
Thanks Dexman and Upstateny! Put mailbox in record mode and all working good now. Thanks again!!
