I'm pretty much a total newbie with all of this stuff but---here goes:

I have two Wave 2500 IP systems on an MPLS that are having drop outs and latency on the intercom. Could this have something to do with a corruption of Wavenet? Or maybe the wavenet isn't installed properly or doesn't exist?

Any help is appreciated.

Yes to all the above. That is the problem. However I would suspect carrier problems or Firewall problems.

Thank you for the answer. So the Wavenet software ties the two ip2500 systems together?

It is the networking software in the system that ties the two together as long as you have the corred voip connection. They work together. A slow WAN connection is usuallly the cause of calls breaking up and dropping off.

Do you own the system? Are you suporting it. If you do not know the Wave you are wasting your time trying to figure this out.

Don't confuse speed with bandwidth. VoIP hates jitter. Derrick is correct. If a test ping is over 80-100ms, your speed is the problem. Ideally, VoIP likes to see around 50ms.
