We have a customer on a new MICS with 6.1 XC MR s/w and A 4.1 NAM.

They have 2 PRI circuits for voice.

They are installing a Goldmine CRM package and a Papillion powerdialer which needs a TAPI link to interface the phone system to the LAN.

We have never done this before. Can someone tell me how to facilitate this. I can't even find TAPI - anything in the manual.

help!!!

TAPI stands for telephone application programming interface. It is the "standard" interface between the telephone system and computer system. You will be doing a CTI application. Goldmine should be the lead in this project and provide a list of current Nortel products used for interface. This is an extremely involved setup. If you have not had Nortel CTI training look for a vendor who has and sub them!
