I don't know what it is, wish I took a picture. It appeared to be a circuit card mounted on top of the main board, it had a flash memory card and what appeared to be an empty round watch type battery slot. The customer said he'd 'press this button' on his phone to change the greeting which he did for MLK day, and changed it back after.

If it's inside the cabinet then yes it's a Svmi 2E.You can change the greeting just by accessing the admin mailbox .You can but don't have to have a key on the phone.

OK thanks - I thought you could do that, and change the greeting remotely. I'll see if the customer has any information on how to access the admin mailbox.

The customer called a Samsung distributor, he's all set. Either the Tech password was default or it was found somehow.
