Greetings,
I'm trying to help out a school district. They have an Os7400 with an Svmi 20i the Svmi 20i shows an orange Lan L.E.D for 1000 MB instead of green for 10/100. The mail is up and running and can be programmed with DTMF It can't be accessed with DM comes back with no link and can't be pinged. This 7400 is using SpNet to send call traffic to three other 7400's with their own voicemail systems and they are all working fine. The Ip address programmed for the Svmi 20i in the 7400 is correct. The only thing I can think to do as a test would be to disconnect the lan connections and put them into a dumb 10/100 switch and see what happens unfortunately if I do that it will disrupt all the call traffic to the other schools. Any other thoughts would be much appreciated. the system is 4.9 something and the mail is 6.07 I believe? It all worked fine up until they upgraded their network months ago now they want to do auto attendant changes.
Thank you for all you do, John 807

I had issues with something similar and it turned out something else on the network had the same address assigned. When the conflict happened, the switch basically shut the port down. I could move it to a different port, and then I could ping it but within a day the issue came back. It was only when we figured out that there was an IP conflict that we were able to keep it up.
It also may help getting their IT to restrict the port to 100mb

Thank you, pretty much the direction I was headed, if it does prove to be the Svmi20i do you know of any reliable sources to obtain one?

Reliable.... no, not really. If you are lucky you can find a system on Ebay that has a 20i, but they are few and far between.
