I need help I have a networked SX2000 with a 20 port voicemail an AVT with misu's
The problem that I am having is I am getting countless calls of ring no answer or messed up integration (please enter your security code) when it is an out side call. I have done every thing last night swapped MISU's swapped around the dialogic cards. It looks to be the first MISU that is messing up. I can call each extension individually and it will answer. Where to next?

look at all your MISU display they should blink 5 times and then flash . If they are in sync with the AVT
. Then you might have to take the AVT off line and run a TFIX . Need a little more info . Have you tried a shut down of the AVT from it's console .

Yes i have tried the shut down from the console atleast 6 times last night but the problem still exsists and all the misu's are blinking 5 times before the flash. in the am i am going try a shut down of the phone switch, i have tried everything else. I am hoping to get the 3300 upgrade in September this is just a bandaid

Shutn down the 2K won't fix your problem . Run a TFIX on the AVT . Also check your intergration settings in the configuration menu . Your problem is between the MISU'S and the AVT . I assume you are running OS2 Software on the AVT ! But shutting down the SX2000 will not help . The MISU'S emulate a SS4 . So all the Mitel does is pass along called party info . Trust me . I work on 2ks and avt's every day ! Here is a simple way to prove it's not the mitel . Lay your hands on a SS4 .Pull the jumper between the mitel and the misu . Hook the SS4 to the mitel side , call the ext num of the port if you see calling/caled info in the display of the SS4 , the mitel is doing its part . Hope this helps

How would I go about running the TFIX program I am great with Amanda's Mitels and Toshiba's but not an AVT Callexpress I know my way around enough to get by. Plus I found out this morning when I came in to do a cleaning and a service to our main SX2000 that our service company had the redundant system Isolated and the activity freeze on. The data on plan A was corrupted so I had to take care of that among the other issues.

I believe that the service I did on the switch might have cured my problems with the AVT. It almost seemed like it was an issue with the hunt group data base.
