Ok everyone I have a srange issue with a new SX200ICP CX system. Actually this is the second unit with the same symptom. I am getting an ONBOARD ASU REMOVED error and LS trunks are then inaccessible. The next log entry after the ASU error is an ONBOARD ASU Printer Test Failed at circuit id 01 13 28 02 ext 328. The problem is that there is no ext 328. Reboot corrects problem. OS is version 3.2, database is 4x8 configuration available at Mitel. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

I've had the AMB lock up when there were repeated power cycles -- PG&E problem. If you power up with hyperterminal or Procomm running, you'll see a segment that says "Do Not Power Off."
Then there's a another message after the AMB finishes booting.
If power drops during that sequence, you'll have these problems. A soft reboot (SYSTEM> RESTART> CONFIRM) will fix it. Then go out and buy a UPS. A big one.

emergency board replacement, or emergency system replacement. If you have already relpaced the AMB with a proven working card.

Yep original install did not provide UPS. Unit plugged into duplex with at least 10 other devices hanging off of it and one device being a copier. PLaced system on UPS and will monitor. Thanks!
