I am trying to do a fresh install on an icp 200. The unit has a premier rather large(on a hard drive) database and I want to do a basic install to use it to test a few ip phones. I created a 512 cf using the setup software for a fresh install. When I disconect the hd and plug in the cf card I get scriptfiledir/sysro/script/startup does not exsist. I have tried another cf card with the same results. Any suggestions. Thanks John

Are you installing a 512 CF card in the internal slot and then putting the program CF in the external to do the install?

I am using a san disk 512 also tried a sandisk 1 gig. I used the format feature in the mitel setup program before I did the cf install.Tried 2 different software levels and same result. I think I am going to try something besides the basic choice to see if it will come up. I have never done this beefore so I am probably missing something simple and stupid.
I guess I can strip down the premier database as I did do a ftp bu file using filezilla but would rather leave the harddrive database alone.

2nd clean install cf (internal) was bad. I used 2 brand new san disk 512's and it went off with out a problem. Even with a good format when I loaded data to the disk I was using for the internal to test it I had some strange file charcters that looked like chinese. I have seen this before on alot of other systems mostly on debuts or svmi 4e units they usually fail a full format though. I should not have trusted the format before I turned to the techtalk board. I am really new to mitel so I doubted what I allready knew and it had to be something with the new system I am trying to learn about. Lesson learned don't forget the basics. Palm To forehead DOH. lol
