Is this:

A) Protocol: Terminated (cln) |
| | B) Port Setting: 1200 bps 7E1 [no] |

What the PMS serial port is expecting? And if you connect a laptop with terminal emulator to the serial of the IPocket at 1200E71 do you get readable data?

When I connect my laptop with a PMS emulator on I only get ENQ because the 3300 does not see the Ipocket for some reason and I get "pms down".

With a terminal emulator (Procomm, hyperterm) you can send a response to the 3300 and you should get a valid response, i.e., some sort of data.

Try responding to ENQ with ACK or ACK ENQ and see if you get data. This is sounding like an incorrect handshake.

Try changing 2 C.

I have changed 2 C from what the docs say DTR/DSR to automatic.

Does anyone have this working and know for sure what the settings are?
thanks

Waht are your other choices for 2C? you may need Ack/Nak and STX/ETX in the terminators L-O. Find out what the PMS expects.

there are a variety of choices but followed the docs, did use the 2 mentioned above. The PMS I am using is a PMS simulator. The simulator is sending the ENQ and not getting an ACK back.
