Need help programming a line button. I have tried everything. When I querey the buttons I see that there is a line there, but when I press it I get nothing. But when a call comes in it rings in and I can pick it up. But when I put the call on hold I have to wait for the recall timer to expire before I can grab the line again. Any thoughts?

Are you sure the button appears on the phone? For example, on the 22 button phone, you may program up to 30-ish line appearances, but there are only 12 line buttons on the phone. Lines programmed for buttons that do not appear behave as you have described.
