Can Call Pilot 100 answer a CO line directly after a predetermined number of rings without utilizing the auto attendant. I have a user that has 10 lines and 10 extension on a MICS R6.1 with a Call Pilot 100. They would like to have the prime line (which is the only ringing line) on each extension to be answered individually by Call Pilot without using the auto attendant feature. Thanks in advance

Not sure what you are asking here.

You can use the Call Pilot for individual user mailboxes only if you want. Some businesses with a full time receptionist would do it this way and just manually send the callers to the users mailbox. In your situation, with all extensions ringing, you can't enable a users M/B to answer without the use of an auto attendant to know where to send the call (which mailbox).

DMCsales; he has the prime line ringing on all phones, whichever user's mailbox has the lowest c.f.no answer will always get the call. If they are all set to the same number of rings, the lowest mailbox number will always get the call.

Thanks for the help. Let me explain a little better what I am trying to do. The 10 extensions (all T7316's have a prime line assigned, none share the same line) and 8 of these extensions have only one line assigned, the other 2 extensions have 2 lines assigned but do not ring except on the prime line. The 10 extensions all have a mailbox assigned to them, they want the voice mail to answer after about 3 rings if the user doesn't pickup. I have been able to have to voice mail answer by doing F984 call forward to voice mail. They don't want to do this every time they want to use their mailbox. Maybe the auto attendant is the only solution.

In that case, since no extension shares a line, you can use individual mailboxes without the AA. In "call forward no answer" section program 3 rings. Keep in mind that having individual prime lines assigned like that, means that if the user is on the line, the next caller will get a busy signal, there is no way to forward that "call on busy" to the mailbox.

Thanks twisted pair, I believe that is what I needed. I will try to set it up that way. They are aware that if the line is busy the caller has no route to the voice mailbox. This is the only Norstar system I have ever seen set up this way with only 1 line assigned to most sets.
