Working on nothing but CallPilots lately has spoiled me. Now that I have to work on a Flash unit, my memory bank is blank.
Client wants calls to go to the GD mailbox after four rings. No A/A, No CCR. Just a glorified answering machine.
I tried turning off ringing to the lines and set CFNA to "4", but the A/A still picks up (the caller you are trying to reach is not available).
Four phones, but only the main phone (21) has a mailbox (MB 100).

Don't use AA, turn of Answer lines in F982. Set up a MB for the reception phone and CFNA the phone to the FlashDN.
If you use th GD you will here that message from Norstar Nora.

I don't know. GD should be "on" and operator "not available" for this scenario to work? Originally posted by MooreTel: Danny, is the GD on and "Operator" is set to "Not Available".

Sorry for the confusion Danny. I was asking, not telling.
Don't get that many requests for a "Glorified Answering Machine".

Nora, Sally... I always call her Ms. Nortel or the Nortel bitch. First time I ever see mention of her "real" name.
Yes, I'm a frenchie; have a problem with that?? Well, I do!!

I use Nora because it rhymes. I don't know her her name. She's like the computer voice on Star Trek.
